Initially at a grassroots level, and only dealing with urgent care coverage. Eventually we will be adding on extra services, a la carte, including things like imaging (CT, MRI, Ultrasound), pharmacy, optician, dental, chiropractic and primary care. The possibilities are endless. The trick is to keep the [total] monthly payments always lower than that people presently pay for fully comprehensive health insurance. The trick here is to cut out the middle men (the insurance companies and the big hospital systems). This will create a massive nationwide network of all types of 'provider', be it an imaging center radiologist, pharmacist or cardiologist, whether it's a physical therapist or dentist. The goal is to lower the costs for the 'member', meaning the potential patient, who has to presently give an arm and a leg to insurance companies, for the perceived luxury of having good medical coverage. The elimination of copays, deductibles and high premiums, takes the money away from the insurers and puts it right back into the pockets of the people!
There is one caveat to all this however, we will still be recommending people have a high-deductible, low-premium, also known as a 'catastrophic policy' with the regular insurance company. This means that if the unthinkable 0.5% chance of getting hit by a truck or getting cancer should actually happen, the member is still covered in some manner, although they will have to pay the deductible amount. We do feel that health insurance has become so expensive that it should be marginalized into the same category as car insurance: something you hope you never have to use, but is there for those rare mishaps. Preventive care (just like car maintenance) shouldn't be a part of regular health insurance. The solution is prepaid medical care, as in prepaidurgentcare.com.
Many hospitals are already attempting something similar, by approaching large employers directly (cutting out the middle man, i.e, the insurance company).
The insurance companies can only retaliate by purchasing the hospital systems and combining the provider with the middle man, effectively.
In most of the country, barriers in the marketplace have prevented competitive market forces from taking hold.
Plan administrators, for a group health plan in a company, are painfully aware that healthcare costs are escalating at an out-of-control pace. Unfortunately, group purchasers of health services, including large self-funded employer health plans, have not been able to leverage their enormous demand-side market power to successfully lower costs. PUC will seek to help change that paradigm. Businesses are frustrated with the captive healthcare marketplace that restricts their ability to meaningfully discover value and reduce the cost of providing health coverage to their employees. I think PUC is the solution they've been looking for, and I'm not just talking about work comp cases.
Did you know that according an article in the USA Today, "Patients pay as much as 683% more for the same medical procedures, in the same town, depending on which doctor they choose, according to a study by a national health care group."
PUC will connect directly to self-funded groups (i.e. employers of all sizes) and health-conscious individuals who are in search of a better health care value. So this puts small urgent cares on the same playing field as a large hospital system.
At present there is a real first-mover advantage for as many urgent cares as possible, as well as other providers, to join the PUC network.
Prepaid Urgent Care is a first-of-its-kind health care solution that seeks to bring common sense to medical coverage. It is truly a grassroots effort, because I'm passionate about curbing the escalating health care costs in America. It is widely known that the healthcare industry lacks the competitive pressures that are typical for other high-fixed cost industries. I am confident this new model will spark a transformation in the way health services are purchased and delivered in America.
I believe I have come up with an infrastructure and design that is a 'no-brainer' for people to sign up and modify their regular health insurance into a catastrophic policy. The savings and the full awareness that you know exactly what you're spending each month and each year, will create so much peace of mind, it'll become a self-fulfilling prophecy with regard to getting people healthier!

Studies have shown that only one in 35 ( that's just 0.03%) people require hospitalization for health issues.
PREPAID URGENT CARE (PUC) allows you to take control of your health care in a medical home, while simultaneously taking control of your medical expenses, in a sensible way.
Pre-existing conditions are accepted and there are NO CLAIM FORMS, copayments or pre-authorizations.
This is NOT intended to be confused with health insurance. This is NOT health insurance. It is 'pre-paid health care' for anyone who wants it.
It's important to understand that PUC is NOT a complete solution because it does NOT cover hospitalization, medications or visits to a specialist. We therefore encourage our patients to seek out the highest deductible insurance policy they can afford to supplement this program.
The PREPAID URGENT CARE program, coupled with a high deductible (low premium) insurance policy, would cost about a third less than buying conventional coverage from the big insurance companies. We just take care of the urgent care office visits, substantially reducing insurance premiums, since you no longer need coverage for urgent care type acute illnesses and injuries.
We are signing up new patients daily. Just fill out the form below and we'll contact you to get you onto the program.
